The latest collection from Converse is nothing short of mesmerizing. It pleases from the start with a series of models and a wide selection of colorways and materials designed to impress sneaker fans from the very first glimpse. The February releases were created with the Expo Nippon theme in mind and were inspired by highly regarded Japanese artisan crafts.Several different models were used including three Converse All-Stars and one Pro-Leather Low Model which will all be representing the time-honored craft of Take-Zaiku basket weaving, Higo-Mari thread balls, Ise-Katagami paper crafts and Icho Itoo wood carvings. Three brand new models will also be released including a shiny black snakeskin Jack Purcell and an all yellow version of the Marine Sea Crisp.

For their upcoming February releases, Converse Japan stuck with the Expo Nippon theme, drawing inspiration from time-honored Japanese artisan crafts. Three different Converse All-Stars and one Pro-Leather Low Model will pay homage to Take-Zaiku basket weaving, Higo-Mari thread balls, Ise-Katagami paper crafts and Icho-Itto wood carvings. Aside from the craft-inspired editions, three other new models will round out the upcoming collection, including a black snakeskin Jack Purcell and a yellow version of the Marine Sea Crisp
